Hey bumblebee, I’m beyond excited – I’ve been tagged again! Thank you to Markus + Micah for tagging me on their Short Q&A: Inspiring Bloggers tag! Though I’ve been in the blogging community for quite some time, it wasn’t until recently I realized how important my internet pals are and I’m certainly grateful to have bumped into these two on the world wide web!

Markus + Micah’s Questions
When was the last time you did something for the first time?
I’d like to think I try new things almost daily but there are two instances I can think of off the top of my head; I recently went to a new town for the first time and purchased fresh beets from the farmer’s market on Saturday. I was a canned beets kind of girl up until last weekend.
What is the perfect day like for you?
The perfect day for me is a beautiful, sunny summer day when I’m free to work on my writing and read a good book. The most perfect days are ones I practice yoga, spend time cuddling my dog, and I get to spend time with the people I love. Really, t’s always a perfect day when yummy food is involved and the sun is high in the sky.
Would you kill for the common good?
This is a tough one. I typically don’t support violence when there are other alternative methods for punishment however circumstantially, I possibly would.
If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose?
If I could have dinner with anyone, I’d have dinner with my father’s mother. I never got the chance to meet my grandmother but I do dream of her often and turn to her when I am stressed or need advice. It would be lovely to sit down and actually meet the woman I’ve heard I’m so much alike.
When was the last time you truly dedicated time for yourself?
Every morning, if time permits, I like to dedicate the first part of my day to myself. Before I roll out of bed I set my intentions for the day, say a few affirmations, and list three things in my journal that I’m grateful for. After trying to meditate, I wrap up me time with a quick morning stretch and then I get on with the day.
